Vault construction
TMS vaults are purpose-built, factoring in the Australian Standard for Computer Accommodation AS 2834 and also the Australian Standard for Data Storage Media management AS3636.4. Vault structure consists of brick and concrete reinforced construction.
Access into the vault is controlled by biometric security and fire proof, steel lined “bank” doors with air lock facility. The main building then provides another layer of protection around the vault, ensuring a 2 – 4 hour fire rating.
