Subject: Adding Value to Media Vaulting and Destruction Services

Brad McDonell (TMS) and Bob Haskins (InfoGuard Inc.) presented to the conference the key selling tips for Records Management companies when selling to the "IT" customer. Brad covered such topics as; Selling to your IT customer - what makes them tick, What does IT want from the media vault, How to use your Vaulting software to add value to the IT customer.

Subject: Benchmarking your Offsite Storage provider

Brad McDonell presented to the conference the history of offsite storage in Australia, the new trends in the industry, the opportunities for Data Centre Managers, and they can exploit these opportunities to enhance their offsite storage experience.

Subject: Offsite storage has changed

Brad McDonell presented to the AFCOM Sydney Chapter on the ever changing offsite storage industry. Brad focussed on the use of Software and barcoding to track tapes sent from the Data Centre to the Offsite Vault, the ability to "Sync" the Data Centres Tape Management Software (TMS) with the offsite vendors vaulting software. He highlighted the operational benefits and efficiency gained by TMS' existing outsourcing customers with their offsite processes.
