Fire detection and suppression
In addition to the intrusion monitoring and environmental system, the vault is equipped with a fire suppression system as well as smoke detectors and water flow detectors.
The fire suppression systems are FM200 which would, in the unlikely event of a fire breaking out, successfully suppress the fire without destroying the very media the system is supposed to protect.
Water flow detectors are placed at low points around the vault to alert the system to any abnormal situations such as water leakage from the air conditioning/humidification system.
